:: the one about friends ::

so long since i last blogged, and the 1st once in a blue moon blog entry is gonna be an emotional one..

juz finished my 2nd session of YRS yest.. had a great time! haa the joy of taking a kid to myself..the joy of not needing to facilitate and worrying about the response from the kids + volunteers..the joy of just sitting down and enjoying the session my wonderful committees planned..hahaha im sure the past committees will totally understand my joy..

took a mildly autistic child tis sem..Aloysious is a challenging child..and he really tests my patience at times..the whole reading session he was drawing out the pictures in his book..not reading a single word..i was totally desperate..coz i din haf any experience in such a child..and im handling him alone..not knowing wad i can do..tried forcing him to read..was totally ignored by him..but from his drawings..i got to see his thinking..its a really unusual experience..whereby one's thoughts is captured in his drawings..he doesn't look at u when he speaks..so i gave him a star when he looked at me while replying the only one time..he was totally happy..and promised to continue looking at me to earn his stars..and..his promise was totally BROKEN..haa

YRS is gonna be so different from next sem onwards..NONE of my frens r gg to appear anymore..ritchie, mabel, shaowei, tricia, kokyong are all going for exchange..with rich n mabs gg for one whole yr..mayi is not gg to appear due to her heavy schwork during her 3rd yr..putting me in a dilemma..YRS is part of my life..but without my frens..do i still go nxt yr? sigh..

regrets..for not applying for SEP..now tat every1 is gg for exchange..im totally regrettin tat i din bother to check out e deadlines for application..until it was too late..everyone seems to noe wad they wan to do..wad about me?i seem to be juz living my life aimlessly..

1 sem..2 sems..r gg to b over in a blink of eye..but still..im gonna miss you all..terribly..coz i'll b even more frenless den EVER..haa now tat so many ppl r gg b out of my life for a period of time..im starting to appreciate the time with them much more..i took it 4granted tat i'll get to see them every fri..now tat there r only 8more sessions left..its like counting down every wk..

on another note..since so many of my frens r gg SEP..i should b expecting TONS of present fr them..HOR?hahaha :)
